Norval Morrisseau

Norval Morrisseau was an Anishinaabe painter who is widely considered to be the ‘grandfather’ of contemporary Indigenous art in Canada. The lesson is based on a long profile of him and his work and a video about an exhibit at the Art Gallery of Hamilton. It includes questions and a vocabulary matching activity.
